The upper part of the estuary bank is from the area passing Seohaean Expressway to the area of Napogyo Bridge, and it has the islands with a field of reeds and wide river. Most area around it is a farm land, but the stones are piled up around Gunsan whose riverside is under construction. It is stabilized structurally, and the heaps of earth and sand are forming a field of reeds in some of its meanders. The reeds and the farm land in the islands are good circumstances for the seasonal birds' living.
