- Features: Its chitin is thick
and has a round triangular shape. The ligament is short
and black, which is considerably projected. The surface
has the smooth and translucent cuticle. It has the thick
dark brown layer on a gray brown ground although the color
is changeable. The inside is white and the mantle is little
hollow. The breeding time is form May till November, and
it moves with a tide.
- Habitat: It lives in the
sand or the mud of a tidal zone, and it is planted in the
Western Seaside.
- Remark: The shell is used
for making the container of chemicals or the white stones
of Paduk.
- Range: It is found in Korea,
Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
