Geumgang Birdwatch Tour Tidal Flat Experience Tour Gogunsan Islands Round Trip   [Eunpa Resort] Eunpa had the original name of Mijeji Dike, but now it is known as the name of Eunpa because it has the beautiful shinning water in the sun. According to Dongukyeojiseungram, it was built up before the Joseon Dynasty era. It is a historic place shown on Daedongyeojido, the first map of Korea, by Mr. Kim Jeong Ho. It was originally a reservoir for agricultural water, but the area of 700,000 pyong covering nearly same sized small hills around the reservoir was designated and developed as a national tourist resort loved by the citizen and local community. You can see one kilometer long tunnel of cherry blossom from the entrance to the facilities for recreation in spring. You can enjoy wind surfing or boating in the shade of zelkova trees and the scent of acacia in summer, while picking chestnuts along the trail starting from the meeting place at the entrance in autumn. A monument for the war dead, commercial area and the facilities for recreation can be found on a ring road of 6km long around reservoir. Families having a picnic and doves looking for foods present peaceful scenery on the extensive lawn ground.
